Regular Membership Meeting and 6th Grade Parent Program: September 9, 2026:

Please join us September 9 for our regularly scheduled membership meeting at 11:45 AM in the Walsh Lecture Hall.  The meeting will conclude at 12:00 PM, and we will host a Walsh Parent Meet & Greet with the 6th Grade Administrative Team (Assistant Principal, Counselor, and Mr. Reyes). This is a great opportunity for 6th grade parents or parents who are new to Walsh this year to learn about upcoming events and ask general questions of the administration.

Special Membership Meeting: RRISD Proposition A (VATRE)

Please join us for a special WMS PTA membership meeting to discuss Round Rock ISD’s Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE), which will appear on the November ballot as Proposition A.

If approved, the additional funding would be used to:

• Provide teachers and staff members who were not included in the Teacher Retention Allotment with a pay increase equal to 2% of their pay-range midpoint.

• Help offset inflationary costs while increasing employee compensation.

• Address salary compression across the district to help recruit and retain high-quality teachers and staff.

WMS PTA members will have the opportunity to hear information about VATRE and vote on whether our PTA will support or oppose Proposition A.
