WMS PTA & the WMS PTA Scholarship Committee are excited to announce the recipients of the
2026 WMS PTA Scholarships!

The first $500 scholarship was awarded to Anna Nelson who is graduating from Round Rock High School. 

The second $500 scholarship was awarded to Mariyam Khazi who is graduating from Round Rock High School. 

Congratulations on your well deserved award!

Eligibility Requirements: 

1. Applicant must have been an 8th grade graduate of James G. Walsh Middle School, and have attended Walsh for a minimum of two years.

2. Applicant must be a graduating student from a RRISD high school, with a 3.0 GPA or higher.

3. Applicant must be a member of the local PTA/PTSA at the school where he/she is currently enrolled. 

4. Applicant must be accepted to (and plan to attend as a full-time student) an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational institute for the summer or fall semester immediately following his/her high school graduation.
